Due to work pressure, late sittings in office, people hardly find time for themselves. They neglect their health which has an adverse effect on their body. They fall victim to one or more deadly diseases. The person of any age group can stay fit until end if he/she takes proper care of their diet and exercise regularly.

Staying hydrated is the simple tip which can be followed by individuals of all age groups for maintaining health. Normal indivuals should drink eight to ten glasses of water that amounts to 2.5 to 3.00 liters of water daily . Only senior citizens suffering from heart failure have limit of water intake. Water is essential for carrying out all processes in body properly.

For people who are busy and out of the house almost whole day for work need to have eight hours complete sleep, they can get up 15 minutes early than the time they usually get up and preform yoga and meditation. These 15 minutes of daily yoga practice will have a long term positive impact on health of the individual. Busy and office going people often have no or very little time for preparing their lunch boxes. So they often consume fast foods like pizzas, burgers or eat food in office canteen. This food may not be prepared using quality ingredients. So, these people can think of and try simple recipes which involve less preparation and cooking time and can take homemade food in lunch box. Office people performing desk job or sedentary type of job should take break for few minutes and get up from their place and take a small round as sedentary type of job can lead to obesity. One can also do a few stretches at his/her desk.

Senior citizen should go for a walk every day. This helps them to keep active. At first you can walk only for 10-15 minutes and slowly increase the duration of your walk up to 30 minutes. The senior citizens should consume well balanced and nutritious diet. Their diet should include fresh fruits, vegetables, salads, soups, low fat dairy products. They should cut down on their sugar intake and sodium intake. As age advances there is higher chance of developing high blood pressure and high blood sugar levels. Avoid spicy food and food that cause constipation. Avoid junk food like pizzas and burgers, they absolutely have zero nutrient ion and only are high in calories which contribute to weight gain. As with age all the bodily functions decline, these people should consume everything in limit.

There are lot of changes in the body of a women after menopause. The dietary requirement of calcium in women is greater than in men, the requirement is even more after menopause. There is increase in bone loss as the age advances. So old age women should take calcium supplements to reduce the risk of osteoporosis which can lead to fractures. They should practice yoga and meditation. They should sleep for six to eight hours. Take a walk. The duration of walk depends on the physical condition of the women.
